Technical Recruiter
 
Synergy Computer Solutions, Inc. (“Synergy”) is a professional services organization providing on-site, off-site and off-shore technology solutions to business customers of all sizes within the Manufacturing, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Financial Services, AeroSpace & Defense, Oil & Gas, Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Banking, High-Tech and other industries.
 
Since 1995 we have been in the business of helping customers address their Information Technology service needs through effective delivery of specialized staffing, time and material and fix bid project work and out sourced solutions.
 
Due to our steady growth and our unique position in the market, we are currently looking to add dynamic, self-motivated technical recruiters in our Detroit, Chicago and Denver offices.
 
The job requirements and candidate qualifications are:
 
Qualifications:
 
BS in Business or related field (or equivalent combination of work and education)
1-3 years experience in direct recruiting function, preferably in a high volume entry-level environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Negotiation abilities and follow-up skills
Ability to organize, plan and implement a creative pro-active recruiting strategy
Proven skill in phone and face to face interviewing techniques
Must have knowledge of HR policy, procedure, federal and state laws regarding employment practices
Must have a successful background in sourcing and recruiting candidates based on job requirements
Must have a disciplined and strong work ethic
Must have experience working with a PC
Experience in resume mining, networking, cold calling and developing relationships is a plus
Ability to negotiate contracts with candidates
Ability to utilize sub-contractor/partner vendor lists
Ability to work with off-shore recruiting assistance
Demonstrate a track record of recruiting in the IT and Engineering fields
Must be results oriented (measured by hires/month)
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
Should have 8-10 placements per year
Cover at least 75% of their assigned open jobs
Should build productive working relationships with the Account Managers
Have a proven track record of positive candidate submissions that meet client needs
Be consistent in positive negotiations regarding wages, should understand profit margins and how this impacts Synergy revenues
Need to have a working knowledge of all Synergy client skill sets and make accurate submittals
Review order specifications and notifications from Vendor Management or related systems
Coordinate and complete client specific placement paperwork and testing procedures
Work closely with Resource Manager and various operations/sales business partners to achieve desired staffing metrics
